About Skymule
A spin-off of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia with a mission to transform healthcare logistics through autonomous drone technology.
Our Mission
Skymule was founded at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia with a clear purpose: to ensure that critical medical supplies reach patients when and where they're needed most. What began as a graduate research project in autonomous systems quickly evolved into a comprehensive platform addressing one of healthcare's most pressing challenges—time.
Every minute matters in emergency medicine. Traditional ground transportation faces congestion, distance, and delays that can impact patient outcomes. Our autonomous drone delivery system eliminates these barriers, providing direct point-to-point logistics that's faster, more reliable, and fully traceable.
Today, we're working with healthcare systems to pilot our technology in real-world scenarios, building partnerships with hospitals, labs, and medical facilities that share our vision of a future where distance is no longer a barrier to life-saving care.
